I have been working toward my goal of living off of the utility grid. My plan is coming together, on schedule and now I need to decide on a location to buy property so I can build my dream home. I desire autonomy from the city and will be providing my own water and energy. To achieve sovereignty from Big Brother is a life goal worth striving for! Meanwhile, I am finishing the remodeling on my current home, which is in the city and on the grid. This also gives some time to let the economy bounce back before I put my house up for sale. This affords me a bit more time to research and visit locations I’d like to settle and make my home. I’m interested in a temperate climate that is not extreme. I do enjoy seasons, but prefer warm weather and do not mind it year round. I find comfort in rain and love being around many plants and trees as it has a soothing effect on my sense of well being. For these reasons, I am quite attracted to tropical climates, so I shall explore various areas of South Florida as my starting point in looking for an ideal geographical local that will suit my lifestyle and meet my personal preferences. However, I am open to all possibilities, including an arid climate. I will keep an open mind and will research and investigate my options wisely. Im in Missouri, we get all types of weather here. I am building an earthship,thats actually how i discovered your vids by searching for earthships. I just watched your video on feelers and thinkers,interesting. I used to heavily wonder about the meaning behind this life. Have you ever read any near death experience accounts? You have a very interesting view point on things,and i would like to see what you say about that. Can you pm through youtube?,i didnt see a button for that on your page.

@EarthshipFreedom Oh yes…my master plan is all coming together. I feel so good about this and am excited to discover my location…wherever that may be. Where do you live and how do you like it? As for the type of home, I will decide on the material once I find the building site as I intend to let climate, geographic terrain and available natural resources determine what is appropriate for my home. So I need to find and buy land first. What about you and your type of home?
